A Life of Faith and Grace
Beginning and Growing in Christ
How Do I Respond to Jesus?
The gospel calls us to repent and believe: to turn from sin and from relying on ourselves, and to place our trust in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord.
We cannot earn salvation through good deeds, religious activity or personal achievement. We receive it as God's gift, by grace through faith.
The obedience that follows is the fruit of his saving grace, never the price we pay for it.
Speak to God Honestly
If you are ready to turn to Christ, you may express your faith in words such as these:
“God, I confess that I have sinned and need your mercy. Thank you for sending Jesus to die for our sins and rise again. I turn to you and put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Saviour and Lord. Forgive me, and teach me by your Spirit to follow him. Amen.”
These words are not a formula that saves. Salvation rests on Jesus Christ and his finished work, received through faith. You may also bring your questions and uncertainty honestly to him.
What Does Following Him Look Like?
Faith in Christ shapes how we learn, pray, gather and live each day.
Listen to His Word
Read the Bible to know Christ and understand his ways. Begin with a manageable passage, and ask what it reveals about him and how you should respond.
Depend on Him in Prayer
Bring your gratitude, needs, sins and fears to God. When you fail, return to him in confession, trusting his mercy and seeking his help to change.
Walk with His People
Join a local church where Scripture is faithfully taught and Christ is honoured. Seek help to understand baptism, worship, fellowship and service as part of following Jesus.
Follow Him in Daily Life
Practise honesty at work, patience at home, forgiveness in relationships and love for your neighbour. His grace sustains us as we learn obedience.

Growing by GraceThe Three Books
Three questions.
One answer.
Each book takes up one of life's deepest questions. Each finds its answer in the same Person: Jesus Christ.
Book One · The Foundation
Christ Our Life
Enter by grace. Walk with Christ. Live in the hope of glory.
Who am I in Christ?
Before work, calling, influence or perseverance, there is the life God gives us in Jesus Christ. Christ, Our Life lays the foundation for the whole trilogy: united to Christ by grace, we enjoy communion with God, stand in His victory and wait for the hope of glory.
The Journey of the Book
“For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.”
Colossians 3:3–4

Book 02 · The Outworking
Christ Our Lord
Kingdom Faithfulness in Work, Leadership and Stewardship
What does Christ's lordship mean for my work?
The life received in Christ is lived under His rule: at work, in leadership, and with our time, money and influence. Beginning with the Beatitudes and Jesus' call to be salt and light, Christ, Our Lord shows what kingdom faithfulness looks like in the marketplace, under pressure, and all the way to finishing well.
The Six Parts
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Book 03 · The Journey
Christ Our Way
Finding Truth, Grace and Hope Through Every Season of Life
How do I follow Christ through every season?
From the questions we cannot silence to the journey home, Christ, Our Way walks with readers through beginnings, changed plans, wounded relationships, grief and growing older. Its answer is not finally a method but a Person: Jesus Christ, who does not promise an untroubled road but promises His presence and a hope suffering cannot destroy.
The Six Parts
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
One Tree · Colossians 2:7
Rooted, built up,
strengthened.
Picture the trilogy as one tree. The roots, the growth toward the light and the storm are not three stages. All three are true of the same tree at the same time, just as the three books describe one life.
01 · The Roots
Christ Our Life
“Rooted in him.” Our life, settled and hidden with Christ in God.
02 · Growth in the Light
Christ Our Lord
“Built up in him.” A life growing toward the light of His rule.
03 · Through the Storm
Christ Our Way
“Strengthened in the faith.” Held fast through every season, because He walks with us.
04 · The Fruit
Overflowing with Thankfulness
Fruit is never the root of the tree's life; it is the overflow.
05 · The Stream
The Life-Giving Supply
“Like a tree planted by streams of water” (Psalm 1:3). The Spirit's life-giving supply.
The tree pictures the believer. Christ is the ground it is rooted in, the light it lives under and the One who holds it through the storm.
How the Books Fit Together
Christ at the centre of every book
One Christ, not three subjects
Every book is about Jesus Christ. The trilogy does not assign one Person of the Godhead to each book: Father, Son and Holy Spirit act inseparably in our salvation, and Christ stays at the centre.
Three aspects, not three stages
No one finishes “Life” and graduates to “Lord”. Living in Christ, under Christ and with Christ are true of every believer at the same time.
Each book stands on its own
Any one book can be read by itself. Read together, they reveal a fuller vision: life received in Christ, lived under His lordship and walked with Him through every season.
Where Should I Begin?
Find your starting point
Most readers begin with Book 1, the foundation the other two build on. But you may be in a season where another book speaks first.
